The GR Corolla has become one of the most popular hot hatches on the market, especial among track enthusiasts. Its 1.6L three-cylinder turbo motor shared with the GR Yaris is an engineering marvel and offers plenty of room for growth. Pairing that with the all-wheel-drive system, great suspension, and stiff chassis, you have a near perfect track machine. After the massive success of the CSF x Jackson Racing High-Performance Stepped Core Intercoolers (CSF #8285/8285B), CSF has received a lot of requests for a performance radiator. With more owners turning the power up and pushing the GR Corolla & GR Yaris harder, the factory systems struggle to keep up. CSF is here to help you never lose your cool with the new GR Corolla/GR Yaris High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator.

CSF is well known for making the best Toyota cooling systems in the world. With years of feedback from Customers, Race Teams, and Development Partners, CSF has the more experience with Toyota cooling systems than any other company in the world. With more and more people pushing the limits of the GR Corolla/GR Yaris, the factory radiator has started showing its limitations. Bigger turbos cranking out more power create a lot more heat that needs to be dissipated. Furthermore, the intercooler is mounted directly in front of the radiator, so all the heat shed by that system runs through it. In racing applications this can be detrimental to engine coolant temperatures and risk sending your GR Corolla/GR Yaris into limp mode.

The original OE radiator from Toyota is a plastic tank with a single row aluminum core design. While this is generally accepted as good quality and durable, there is always room for improvement. The 5mm fins on the OE radiator made the system fairly efficient for a factory unit. The core itself is one of the biggest limiting factors at only 27mm thick and a single cooling row.

With data collected by development partners and race teams, CSF was able to design the ideal High-Performance replacement. The CSF radiator features the latest 5mm fin technology. These fins significantly increase the heat exchange surface area improving overall cooling efficiency and recovery while still maintaining good airflow. The core is much larger than the factory featuring 2-Row 42mm aluminum core. This both increases the fluid capacity of the radiator, and improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The TIG-Welded 100% All Aluminum construction increases the overall strength of the radiator. This improves durability and longevity so you can be confident it will hold up to hard driving conditions. The right side tank includes a pre-plugged 1/8th NPT temperature sensor port for those looking for more accurate coolant temperature readings. Pre-installed foam strips on top and bottom end plates improve sealing for better airflow over the radiator. The CSF radiator mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting.

The CSF x Jackson Racing Intercooler and some other aftermarket intercoolers utilize piping/hoses that are larger in diameter than the factory units. These larger intercooler pipes may have clearance issues with other aftermarket radiators. CSF carefully designed the end tanks on the #7233 with additional clearance for the CSF x Jackson Racing Intercooler while maintaining optimal volume and flow.

The engineering team at CSF spent extra time developing a radiator that could fit both the GR Corolla and GR Yaris. The factory radiator are very similar, but not interchangeable. This cross compatibility is a huge advantage for Dealers and Distributors as they only have to stock one part for both applications.

This hat…what can I say? Do you want to be the talk of the GR community? Do you want to have people look at you and know you mean business? Do you want keep the sun out of your eyes (wearing it forward of course)? Do you want to be successful? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the hat for you! The fit and feel of this hat is perfect, much like the Brin Naub® and synthetic leather-trimmed sport seats in the GR. The embroidery seems as though it was done by the hands of angels, every stitch to perfection. When I first put this hat on, I lost 15lbs and gained another 15lbs in muscle (can’t confirm it scientifically, but the scale stayed the same and I felt stronger). My senses while having this hat on were also heightened. The 6 speed manual transmission in my GR Corolla didn’t stand a chance as I flew through the gears masterfully while passing the Ferrari SF90 stradale awd that couldn’t keep up with me (it may have been slowing down to turn, but pretty positive they saw me and knew they couldn’t keep up). Bottom line is, you want this hat, you NEED this hat. I’d recommend buying atleast two of them for when people notice you’ve become too powerful and try to steal your hat. Always have a backup! And remember, with a great hat comes great responsibility, or something like that. Buy this hat now!
